You are spot on jimmy69...I think I have become lax in my concentration

That might explain why its down 45 pips at present! I'll amend the journal.

Sr2 thanks for sharing a good system since I read this thread few pages in the begining few last pages I am not sure if your system is still the same as mentioned on the first page or have you fine tuned it if you have please let me know.

Original System:
The system is basically using 4 hour charts with 10ema 40ema crossover with Parabolic SAR (0.02 0.2).
1) Use 4 Hr chart
2) Use the crossover of 10 & 40 EMA & PSAR (0.02/0.2)
3) Go long if fast EMA crosses the slow one below PSAR is below the price
4) Go short if fast EMA crosses the slow one above PSAR is above the price
5) Use 100 Pips Stoploss

one more thing if i may im a little confused about the above below +15 rule

eg: If you look at your audusd trade made on the 7th of jan you will see that when the par sar fliped back after a 3 dot switch the first dot was 7 pips below the ema40 i thought that indicated a buy signal yet you posted a sell.

It was definitely a sell. The trade is in the direction of the fastMA. Like I said the new system is a modification of the old system. Just the entry point has been modified.

Let me try to explain the +15 above below rule. Looking at the trade you highlighted. Basically as you have pointed out the PARSAR was 7pips below slowMA. The slowMA at that point was .7674 so as along as the PARSAR was not below .7659 you have a sell trade.

The main thing to remember is that you are trading in the direction of the fastMA.

No doubt you will have noticed that we came within 21 pips of closing the EURCHF trade for 100pips. Its dropped back a bit now. Anyway like with any system you have to stick to the rules so we'll just hang on see where the trade goes.

This is one of the downsides to this system in that some trades can last a LONGGGGGGG time. This one was taken on the 8th April...so about 12 days so far. When you are trading a mini lot like me then 100pips over 12 days hardly seems worthwhile. But I hope to grow the account steadily increase the lot size to a full lot.

I am also working another variation to the system which will give us more signals but with smaller gains. Again I will test if it looks good will post it up here.
