Re: Yet another newbie system!

I've just looked over the trades made and here is a summary:

USDJPY Winners:1 Losers:1 0%
GBPUSD NO TRADES
EURJPY Winners:0 Losers:1 -100%
EURUSD Winners:1 Losers:0 +100%
USDCHF NO TRADES
GBPJPY Winners:2 Losers:0 +100%
EURCHF Winners:0 Losers:2 -100%
USDCAD Winners:3 Losers:0 +100%
AUDCAD Winners:3 Losers:1 +75%
EURGBP Winners:2 Losers:0 +100%

It looks to me like so far the most profitable currencies have been:

EURUSD, GBPJPY, USDCAD, AUDCAD and EURGBP.

It is possible that I drop the other currencies when I live trade.

The system with all 10 currencies has a success rate of 50% for Jan and Feb so far (some feb trades still open.) With only the above currencies the success rate jumps to 90%. But despite this fact, this cannot be taken as conclusive proof that these currencies will always produce this kind of success rate. We need to watch and trade for a long time yet to get a feel. It could also be a seasonal thing i.e. in the summer (GMT) the trend could reverse.

I just thought this may be helpful to someone going forward.

Re: Yet another newbie system!

Is this correct? Got a SELL (I mean) for AUD-USD.

Re: Yet another newbie system!

SR2,

thanks for your informative respond.
I was wondering, in your current system if one decides to control the losses manually by checking the prices continuesly instead of S/L-T/P (trade and forget), can it be much more profitable? Because in this system the profits are big compared to losses when you keep losses under control.

Thanks

PS.
ImWanted, yes, I think that entry appears to be valid.

Re: Yet another newbie system!

As for Exiting, anyone look at the possibility of only exiting at the next MA cross and then when the PSAR touches or cross, you have another trade... Was looking at it manually and it seems it was able to catch some good trends...

Thanks amin1000 for tha confirmation
