So I have been downloading decompiled EA's from another trading robot forum (which shall remain nameless) and it looks like karma has come back to bite me as I seem to have a virus on my computer. I tried bitdefender and Kapersky but they have not seemed to get rid of it. My MT4 keeps crashing and freezing up and I cant trade.
Has anyone had a similar problem? What can I do?

4 of my trading partners and I got bit by that sucker last week.

we can't be 100% sure but ever things pointing to something in MT4 as well since couldn't remove it Intel we completely cleared out all MT4 folders and ran the following cleaners on the system!!!

Here is what we did to remove,,

1: deleted all MT4 folders
2: install Microsoft Windows Malicious Software Removal tool
Download details: Windows Malicious Software Removal Tool
3: install the free version of Malwarebytes.org
4: install free version of CCleaner - Home ( once install run the cleaner and then a fulll reboot of your system, once reboots back up, run cleaner for the 2end time)
5: now run both malwrebytes and full scan and Microsoft Malicious Software Removal Tool ) Click on Start, Run, Type MRT and Press Enter,

Moral of the story, don't use cracked software?

You should really consider trying out linux. It is immune from viruses and trojans. I use it myself for all of my financial transactions, including trading.
