auto filtering of messages

From a number of messages with asterisks in place of letters that there is some kind of automatic filtering happening. If this is for product names or whatever, I suggest that it applies to whole words only. 's' 'o' 'l' is a very common example. Many words have those three consecutive letters and should be left alone. If the filtering software was aware of word boundaries, then one could filter for a 3-letter word of those three letters above (this is just an example, but a major nuisance one).

I have a nephew who's a ***dier in the military. He's stationed overseas. He said there was a lot of ***itude on post. Maybe I should buy him a ***ar battery for his radio. Maybe he could ***icit one from another ***dier. But I guess he's pretty much ***o out there. He could probally use some sun tan lotion for relief from the ***ar sun. Also some playing cards to play ***itary. But I doubt there's a ***id table to play on............
