Hi, forum members and guests. Fairwind brought an idea for using of one time standard only in the reccy's section, so lets make it happen. Dont be shy - vote.

Not necessary, all it requires is simple addition or subtraction. Besides you can look at the time stamp on each post and see what time it was posted.

Hi, 4xis2ez. How are you?
Yes, I know. One can even choose any time zone to be shown when he/she views the forum, but the thing is, that timing on forum is not quiet accurate. It is ahead of real time with about 15 or so minutes, and if thats what forum members prefer in recco' section...why not? its only 5 more symbols.

actually, I see now it only 3-5 minutes ahead, and you're right - its not such a big of a problem. But lets see whether there is a need for it in this section anyway. Why not?

Guys, if you want more than domestic input in this section I would not limit to EST. I hope that the goal here is to keep the doors opened for wider forex audience. GMT is good compromise for everybody.

EST

I believe most platforms quote the rates and completed trades in EST. Not sure with European platforms such as Deal4Free.

I suggest just using EST.

Cheers.
