Most Definitely - I noticed EliteTrader does this. What we could possibly do is all log into the Live Chat and use this vehicle to ask the relative person questions.
Besides this we could chat to different Brokers as well....
I would also like to see people on this board, who have mentioned knowing associates/friends that are extremely profitable, to encourage them to share their stories and insights as well.
In this business people want to sell you $200 books or $2000 courses . If they are so good they should be able to make a million or more a year easily. No one wants to mentor anyone for the sake of passing on wisdom . The only one i came across is woodie cci system that he seems to give back to the trading commmunity. SometimesI think no one makes money in trading. You make $100 and you loose back $80 . When you realise that you start selling books, websites and course .If these experts made money then they wouldnt be peddling books and course. So about my bitching i had a bad week .
I was thinking alone the lines of Jack D. Schwager's Market Wizards books.
Here you had professional traders being interviewed about their methods and experience. They were not sell anything or promoting themselves. I don't think they were paided for their interviews (but I don't know).
This would be what we would hope to emulate to a very small degree. Any help or advice in making it happen would be welcome.
I propose a three step process:
First the members of moneytec.com nominate traders they would like to know more about. They could be private traders, traders form banks or corporations, fund managers etc. I think it would be best if their focus was on forex as opposed to stocks, bonds etc.
Second
Invite the traders to moneytec.com. Say we are a community of forex traders looking to improve. Say that we admire the traders sucess and then ask then if they would like to be interviewed or be a guest member of moneytec.com for a small time period.
Third
Either we could compile a list of questions from members for interview or members could ask questions directly on the forum.
