"View new posts" recommendation

Regarding the "view new posts" section.
I have recently logged back into the forum and had two (2) pages of "unread" new postings to sift through. After a quick review of the two pages, I went back and replied to one particular thread with the intent of returning to the "new posts" section to reply to yet another thread.

Unfortunately, after posting to the first thread I was re-routed back to the main forums section and was unable to return to my original "view new posts" page. Follow me so far?

If this is an "operator error" could you please advize me on the correct process?
If this is not an error on my part would you able to re-direct us back to the "new posts" section after we respond/reply to a thread?

Sorry MT. The error must have been on my part as I am perfectly able to view all previous new posts.

Anyway, it's good to know that you are here for us if/when we need you.
