cms-forex

Thanks Ryan! This is my first post, I have spent some time on this forum, being new to Forex this community has given me a great appreciation of this trade. I also am interested in traders thoughts on CMS, I've read some things on FXCM pros & cons, I trade a mini account with them and another account with Oanda both seem OK but I'm not sure what to look for other than spread, slipage, and TP &SL execution. CMS spreads and platform seem attractive? Thank you all in advance!

Nick

Ive been with them for three mnths and have had no problems what so ever other than two entry orders not being given, and that was to my advantage as they were losing trades. Ive found them fast and reliable and if i was looking for another i would sign up with them again without hesitation.

appreciate the info

Titan,

Thanks for your opinion. I am thinking of trying them out based on some good reviews I heard recently. I heard they have great charting and a very impressive platform. But, I just wanted to get some other outside opinions.

Ztrader,

I currently use FXCM and have had no negative issues to date. I'm most impressed with their customer service though. They have always been helpful with any questions.

CMS Visual trader are excellent charts, light years ahead of the standard java. Also youve got over 30 indicaters if you wish and they are very easily modified. Ive found it very useful placing my orders directly on the chart, and i can also move my stops or limits just by clickig and dragging on the chart. Everything can be modded, colour combinations. They even have the spread highlighted on the chart.Very user friendly and it also gets updated aleast once a week so it is continuely being improved

Titan,

It sounds like CMS has a good thing going. I'd much rather have charts with a full suite of indicators for free than have to pay for it anyday. The only concern I've heard with CMS is concerning their financial stability. I don't want to be the one that starts unfounded rumors but I also want to be 100% sure that they are going to be here for the long haul before begin an account with them.

The best advice I was given when looking for a brokerage was to understand what they did with your funds once deposited: are they in a segregated account or do they get put into the general fund of the company for use as the company needs.

I don't now about you, but I feel more comfortable with my funds in a segregated account and not being used to pay the electric bill.

Read the agreement very carefully.
