I am not sure in which section of this forum this ad should go. I do not mean to offend anybody. The moderators should feel free to remove or move this ad if they think it's missplaced. I do believe that a few people on this forum will find some interest in the add though. So here it is :

Young Boston-based Forex managed fund is opening a proprietary trading desk in
Through a competitive selection the company is seeking 2 or 3 experienced forex traders willing to go one step higher and start trading higher amounts.


Requirements:

1. A proven track record.
2. Proven reliability in your results. Low draw down. Low risk.
2. Able to trade daily from the company trading desk in Kansas City.
3. Able to manage risk and pressure.
4. Proven capability to manage the money allocated to your account.
5. Interested in being a constructive part in a fast growing company.


Recruitment method:

1. After a successful interview, 2 or 3 candidates will be selected. The selected candidates will be offered office and a trading station to demonstrate their trading capabilities. The candidates interested in pursuing the selection process will be offered to open an account with our company and deposit a minimum of 5000$ of your own money which you will be trading to demonstrate your capabilities.


2. After trading successfully your own money for 60 to 90 days at a rhythm of at least 1 trade a day you will be offered a permanent full-time money-manager position with our company.


3. Your remuneration will be a fixed salary plus a high interest in the earnings you will make on the sum you will be allocated. You can manage as much as 10 million USD if the results are up to the expectations.

Is this the same Boston Technologies which developed the MetaTrader Virtual Dealer Plug-In to allow MT4 brokers to steal their clients money?

Guys, if you're going to go work on a Prop desk at least find a reputable one on recommendation, not some thieving crap shoot you see spammed on a chat forum!

hrmanager, although it's true that 90% of the people who post here are slightly lacking in the brain-cell department you'll be hard pushed to find one stupid enough to part with 5k, even if they had it to part with

Same www.bostontechnologies.com website, same Franklin Street location, same phone number, same logo, same MT4 product.....but not you? Ok.

We did not develop the product, we were only commercializing it.
Also , you seam to insinuate that it was developped to "steal money" which is certainly not the case. However it can be missused as many other products (example : sleeping pills).
Please do not ruin our reputation because of something you think with no proof, it would be defamation.

this story seems dodgy to me, Im in asset management business for some time now.

It does all seem a bit strange somehow, I guess the moral is 'when in doubt, stay out', especially when it involves money!

This is clearly just a scam in order to collect pip rebates on trades by use of an IB agreement.

Otherwise you would have no requirement to trade at least once a day.

TraderPierre is right to defame you on this forum.
