Buy EUR/USD 11/12/2003 or 12/12/2003?

I am looking to buy this current dip in the EUR/USD. I believe that the EUR/USD will rally by the weekend.

I am not sure if it will rally on the 11/12/2003 or the 12/12/2003. Thursday has US retail sales news. Friday has US trade balnce news.

Line up on thursady and look to buy?

If it falls to rally (get out at break even or a small loss) come back on friday and look to buy again?

Any ideas on when you think the EUR/USD will next rally (i.e. big move 150 + points)? Assuming that you think the trend has not been broken.

Given that it has just broken support at 1.2150 (3.45 NY time) it is unlikely that it will form a sharp V shaped bottom and rally strongly in the NY trading session on 11/12/2003.

I think I will go long between 7.30 NY and 9.00 NY 11/12/2003 on a short term uptrend.

If I am wrong and the short term uptrend does not turn into a rally I will take a small loss or get out at breakeven. Then I will come back and try the same on 12/12/2003.

Retail sales no matter how good can't warrant the rally in the USD and the Dow.
