Its times like this when you put a trade on for the sake of it and suddenly the market moves (always against you) and you think oh f**k.

Sit on my hands, sit on my hands....

Ain't that the truth! Earlier I nearly shorted at 1.7595, just now I nearly shorted at 1.1932 Eur/Usd, both for a quick scalp, he who hesitates......

Ah well, I reckon I'll leave some orders in for Eur/Usd to sell at 1.1975 and 1.2020, half on each and a stop at 1.2060, target 1.15, lol, nah, target 1.18/1.1760 2 minutes after an NFP of 300k! Hey, it's a plan!

There are so many different ways to play that number. I reckon you have as much chance of getting your orders filled, getting out at your target and it still reversing back up to your stop. Lets hope if happens in that order!

If you have it to hand, do you know what the last 5 NFPs have been?

No, sorry, I'm sure they're listed somewhere though.

At this rate nothing's going to get filled!

Now we're getting somewhere, one filled at 1.1975 but Cable is lagging behind, I guess this mornings London Underground 'incidents' haven't helped.....

Re: Is cable in for a trouncing?

I thought I had better update just in case anyone is following or trading my opinion, I've closed the rest of my short position at 1.1940 for +35 in view of recent events here in the UK. However, the trade is still valid I believe, stops should be moved to 1.2040, target 1.1860 area.
