Where do you go to "GET IT ON"?

Are there on-line trade rooms where people can get together and trade on line..... say for several hours or so. Perhaps the Euro sesson, etc....???

I LOVE the idea of Thaner's system but I just cannot commit to being withinn earshot of an internet connected computer for ALMOST round the clock, 24/5.

I wish his system was like say 12 hours a day or something, but it's not and I have to accept that.

Does anyone know where else one can go and be in a group setting and trade with some competent traders???

Thanks for anyone's help on this.

And if not, can we start from here on Moneytec?

An example would be, a system like Mark3's where we could all get together and trade it. This is just an example.

And of course, I know, I know. "Why do you need a group setting to trade a system?" many of you will remark.

My answer is because it is a powerful learning experience, even for experienced traders.

When many are trading together, "gold nuggets" so to speak, of trading will be flying back and fourth. We'll be better traders for it.

No matter how experienced one is in whatever field, when a group of people get together in one cadence and are reaching for a common goal, eveyone's game will rise.

Some might say that this forum is that room where we get together and brain storm. But it wouldn't be the same. It would be significantly different if we were all together placing trades based on a disciplned system.

I guess this wouldn't be for individuals like Mick Mason, who trades his own system on his own time, and is self-admittedly a succesful full time trader.

He is the kind of candidate who would manage the session and call trades actually.

I don't know. Does anyone have any comments on this.

I have to say this thread is a big disappointment to my expectations...
Anyway, did you know that MoneyTec has live chat rooms? Click on the "Live Chat" tab at the top of the page.

Good Trading,

Sundance

Talking

Yes, thank you I do very well know about the live chat room.

This is not what I'm referring to.

I am talking about a group of people getting together at exactly 10:00AM or whatever exact time, and trading together without anyone else popping in between communictions with the group.

A dedicated place of trade between certain and defined hours with one goal in mind.

The chatroom is not set up in this fashion.

I am a bit dissapointed you pointed me to the chatroom for this

I would be fascinated by a very serious and disciplined on line trading room where a group of people got together to trade everyday at certain hours.

Thaner's program seems awesome to me. I just can't be within earshot of a computer 24/5.

Maybe what I am inquiring into doesn't yet exist...

Why don't you just get a group of traders 2gether, and set up a private chat room - either here at moneytec (maybe they would set one up for you), or somewhere else?

Good Trading,

Sundance

i think there are some users who do this using skype or netmeeting ..

me personally, i'd like to setup a very low threat irc network chatroom .. there are tons of them available .. they are no cost and very easy to get setup .. you can actually also have a bot that can even call trades, signals.. it can be fun .. i have been up for such a function myself for a while now..

just to add, the chatroom can be keyed or invite only so no pop-ins and outs..

Yes, an ICQ group, for example!
