Re: Do you find yourself posting more more when you are loosing?

I think it's pretty funny but I guess it's true for a lot of people. I personally don't see much of a correlation between making money how often I post. The only reason I post around here is when I get a bit bored need to find something to amuse myself with.

please guys for ****sakes it's lose not loooose.

A lot of pro floor traders who've been interviewed confirm these stats. Just read the Market Wizards series. In a zero (negative) sum game there are naturally more winners than losers.

Again did it help YOU?
Almost everything that one can read on any forum can be found in books on trading. Well except for that miraculous combination of MACD CCI EMA that almost certainly guarantees you 100 pips a day.
please I am also a user I don't intend to insult you or anyone else that is reading my thread.

You think pro traders are good sources of facts? Not me in fact I know pro traders release statement on the contrary to facts. Have you ever thought of it this way; lets say 10% winner theory is true please tell me how many participants/traders is this 10% derived ?

Re: Do you find yourself posting more more when you are loosing?

Yigal thank you for starting this thread it says a lot about the psychology of trading.

Everybody should read carefully what other posters write you can learn something. Sometimes a gem is found in the most unlikely place.

Trading is a lonely business if you are not comfortable with being alone it will add one more aspect of difficulty to an already difficult industry.

Successful traders are not exempt making mistakes all of them are successful in their dilligence in finding new ways to eliminate these mistakes.

For this reason do they visit forums learn as much as they can about their chosen profession. They learn every thread they choose to read. For myself I can say that I have learned a great deal over the years of visiting this forum. I only read this forum various posters over the years have given me a wealth of information that I could use profitably in my business.

I do not read all the threads. I choose the subjects that interests me. I do not post very often although I read every day. I do a large amount of reading on a daily basis on a variety of financial subjects. I am a perpetual student.

Most of what I read know today have come information I found in one of the threads on this forum.

In short whether you win or lose to the market having a source of information to help you is of great value.

Look the 10% figure is pretty rom but the point is that it is a mathamatical certainty that in a negative sum game like forex trading (BTW I would like to add that buying stocks is actually a positive sum game since wealth is being created by the company itself) the majority has to fail for the minority to be consistently succesful. Think about it.
