Is Wireless Trading Secure?

I would like to ask a question about trading by wireless email. Is it secure, or is there any way for someone to intercept my email or view my account?

It really depends on the set up I presume.
After all I've seen in the IT-security field
my recommendation is to never use wireless
for the purpose you describe.

Wireless doesn't pose any more security risks than hard-wired Internet connections. You have to be assumint that someone wants your password(s) so bad, they spend a lot of time and money getting them. Most online bad guys go after much bigger fish. What is the secure part, your password? So what? The worst that could happen is someone loses your money trading. Any withdrawals, closing accounts, etc. are not compromised, as those transactions are subject to stronger security safegaurds.

I read news gone back to 2000, saying wireless is not safe, but what about today -- 2005, but 2006 is coming very soon? I looked for and found the wireless business that said wireless email is secured. No "update" information today like news, said anything about wireless being secured such as a test to be passed or failed. I still look for 2005 news, not 2000, about update on it.
