Does anyone use excel spreadsheets with a data feed to develope a trading system? I would like to find out how to get a data feed into the spreadsheet and update itself? I now have to imput the data by hand.

You can use the DDE functionality of Excel to update cells as prices chage. For this to work, your data feed has to have DDE export functionality as well.
Hope this helps...
For back testing, all you would need is the OHLC prices and your own formulas.
