It very well could be. This is a good a spot as any for it to happen and for the retracement to begin. If you believe it is a bear trap, then a short right now from 8664 with a limit of 8630 would be a nice little trade.

Scalping on the short side for this pair has been very profitable for me. Raking in those pips! Although I expect the pair to retrace, I'm still gonna carry scalping shorts until the retracement happens.

Me too now, I've closed longs, there's still a bit more left to the downside I think....I'll long from 1.8550/00 if seen, and scale in.

Although we are "Short" biased, remember the trendline on the weekly and the fact that we are at 50% ret.
I wrote that I might expect a consolidation here, and I think this is what we see this morning (look at the attached chart).
The price is ranging quite ugly, I would say, and I wait for the range to break.
Although I tend to take shorts, if the Asian range breaks to the up side, I'll be happy to take a long.
Also, the swissy has formed a 1-2-3 top on the 3 hour chart which signals shorts for it, which usually means longs for cable.

I am within a Pitchfork course. The teacher is called Gordon from Kawaii (HI).
Recently you mentioned that you have also attended some Pitchfork course or read some books about it. Yesterday I have sent him the first pic from your post 16 in this thread and asked him about P5. On this pic P5 is lower than P3. This irritates me somehow. I am exited what he will respond to that.
