I am sure all those who held long positions over the weekend must not have survived, regardless of where they held their stoploss.

Is it a manipulation or what?

IMHO Milton,

Close your account, find a new broker, and file a complaint with every federal agency that you can find.

This is out right stop hunting!!!!!

Do not pass go. Do not collect $200. Go directly to Jail.

Case closed.

Well... I think you are overreacting a little. A few minutes after open IBFX sent out an email stating trading would be closed for about 10 minutes due to a data problem and all trades (profit or loss) would be reversed.

300 PIPs is pretty aggresive stop hunting.

Re: Giant spikes on all charts

If you take a look at the history file you will notice the spike occurred on all time frames on Saturday the 5th... a non-trading day with IBFX . If you require proper charts for reference, simply remove that day from the history file for each time frame you use.

Just email the support for your chart/data feed provider. And data will be cleansed in no time and your chart will be okay again.
It's so hard to have those spikes, sometimes it is toooo big that the real candles look like an ant, or it seems that there is no chart at all. But just email the support, and they'll fix it.

Mabey things are different in your part of the world,...but September 5, 2005 was a Monday here in the USA. Inclusively, it was a federal holiday called Labor Day.

On the other hand, my broker is just very hard working and was nice enough to be open on that day. No such spike on my chart. (Or on bloomberg;which I frequently compare to) I was watching the whole time.

To quote Kurt Russell (Wyatt Earp) from the movie Tombstone,...

"Why dont you get rida' him and get yourself an honest dealer?......You gonna' do somethin',....or are you just gonna' stand there and bleed?"

Now hold on there tex ... errr, psytrader. No horseplay was goin' on, IBFX rolled back the trades so no harm no foul was committed. So let's all mosey on over to the saloon for some firewater, and not go makin' hasty accusations.

Ill back off,...no problem. Im not the one with the money in that account.
I do offer three pieces of advice in parting:

1. Shop around for brokers. The first one that you find is usually the best at marketing and not at providing the service that suits your trading style.

2. "IMHO" before my statement means that is how I feel about the situation, and is not indicative of how everyone would feel about a 300 POINT SPIKE in the wrong direction.(refunded or not)
("IMHO",... I need FAR more stability than that in a business relationship)

3. Please do not ever use the words "mosey" or "firewater" again. (They make you appear to be less intelligent than we know you are )

OI! It was done in the cowboy drawl Too much 'Deadwood' I guess. Your concerns are noted. I've been with IBFX for a few weeks now and haven't had any problems. But if these glitches were to happen again I would probably look elsewhere.
