Question Help with TradeStation

I just can’t seem to get Tradestation 2000 to draw real time graphs, I have the data feed (from FXClub) working and the Global server seem to be happy with it, I have setup the FX Symbols and set them online, but I just can’t get it to draw a graph for me, I know it is just stupidity on my part and I’m really missing something very obvious. Can any one please give me a hand.

Tradestation

Make sure the chart you have selected is related to the real time data feed and not a historical one. Also, make sure you are in the online mode for the symbol from the global server tool.

all the best,

Question

The currency pair (Symbol) is online, (Right click in Global Server, set online) but I may have a problem first the first part, I used historical data to load the Symbol into GS, but I also set it up in IDLoader so the feed I’m getting for say CHFJPY A0-FX is linked to CHFJPN Ask from FXClub.
Am I on the Right track or still completely lost?

Hi BlackBear,

Take a look at http://www.moneytec.com/forums/_show...eadid-6621/_s-

See if the global server (Perfomance) writes the ticks.

One question, is there a way to set FXClub in english?

Cheers,
kopas

Hi Kopas,

Seeing as you had the same problem, you can imagine how frustrated I am. And I thought the difficult part was going to be reading the Russian… (-:

Thank you for the reply, I can how ever only test it tonight, you would not happen to have a manual for TS… (Worth a try)

The setting you refer to in your old post, is it on the Sessions tab?

Any web site in foreign language go to http://www.babelfish.altavista.com/ very handy site. I also have the manual for IDLoader in Russian though, still translating it. I do how ever have the instructions on how to setup up the IDLoader.

You can make your own DLL in any programming language that can produce standard call notation DLLs (C++, C#, Delphi, VB, ...), then call it within easy language file. Take a look at DefineDLLFunc EasyLanguage call.
