well if you stayed in that trade long enough you made the 100 pips I called, with help from a report that was out of the blue, I admit although it hit may target, I did not, I got 30 pips

I got up this morning and was hovering over the mouse to enter both euro and chf when it surged.....oh well, next time I guess...hope everyone else was in there

Regarding the violent price moves just after 8:30 am EST...

At www.forexnews.com they publish a "Global calendar - Events for ...". It is useful to be aware when important reports/figures are released so that one can either protect open positions with tight stops or be ready to profit from a volatility break-out as occured just after 8:30 am EST.
