It won't be so perfect.
He probably encounter the situation where indicators sometimes work, sometimes not. To him, indicators / TA is purely random and is not predictive in nature.

If one can trade against the indicators and win, you can't say the indicators don't work. They do work but in the opposite way. That implies the previous interpretation of indicators is wrong, be it your or creator's fault.
