Does anybody have advice for embracing this fatal peril?

If you are stuck in a high rise that's a possible target invest in a base jumping parachute and a gas mask.

Also don't watch the TV coverage that rehashes that horrible day every year on its anniversary. I don't know about you but I will remember all the details from that day for the rest of my life and have no need to see it in slow motion over and over again.

Remember that the terrorists want you to live in fear and change your lifestyle. Give them the proverbial middle finger by living your life as you would have before the attack.

Last, vote for the politicians that are committed to hunting down terrorists wherever they may be.

Traderguy,

I agree on all points except for 1. Unless you remind people of what was and what could be they forget very quickly. And because they forget the sear horror of that day they go ahead & vote for the candidate that has not proven himself tough on that issue. I remember that day with the smoke bilowing from lower Manhattan, & my friends mother waiting for the phone to ring but it never does
