Question Intervening on your system

I would like to know How many of you experienced traders will intervene on a trading system when news like the markets receiving this past week go's against it.......

Intervening

From personal experience I can say that having worked for a FX fund manager, cetain black- box systems are "tweaked" to allow for fundamental events to be taken into account.

I know nowdays that many of the big hedges will have a neutral/square possy ahead of leading data, ie NFP or interest rate announcements.

I also believe this is the best way as the hard part is not trying to guess what economical numbers will be, it's the market reaction to that data

Good luck
