I'd say you would probably be fine moving to spain. I doubt you would have problems like in Costa Rica. However, Uruguay sounds pretty tempting. I might have to check it out.

Im told Uruguay is mad scrambling for foreign investment.
Argentina cut off some trade and support (Uruguay looks to the USA for trade agreement) Uruguay is pretty alone in that part of the map.

unfortunately u. is considering introduction of income tax. July 1 will be the decision day. If they decide to tax tax worldwide income then that will be it for u. - off my list of countries i would want to live in.

next candidate is Panama
