MACO strategy

A big Hello goes out to the moneytec community. I have come from another forum and am looking forward to meeting all you wonderful folks.
Let's get the ball rolling with a question: What system or strategy is anyone out there in moneytec land using to trade MACO?

What is MACO

Yes!...but with a filter for sideways trends. See the original post here http://www.moneytec.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=7186&perpage=8&pagenumber=1

What is MACO?

The link has 65 pages and I didn't read it all !! The original thread was a bit highjacked at the end apparently, with a different topic.

As far as I can see in the link above, MACO is short for "Moving Average Cross Open".

The MA values are 5 cross 8.

The thread starter placed the MA's in a 5 min chart, and others offered a variety of filters.

An interesting read all round, as far as I went.

Good trading to all........................

Yeah, MACO ended up becoming a MA Cross with a filter. Wanted feedback from folks who have been using it if there are any still out there???

Cool BG Cross

MACO + filter = BG Cross

Not Exactly

You need to read the thread entirely "a different crossover system" to see that Maco evolved into a cross with a filter different to Bunny Cross which is based on entering after a number of pips. I personally don't like that idea.
Anyway hopefully the pic below gives some idea. Buy/Sell only after a cross of the Buy/Sell lines
