Re: Market Traders Institute Info
I took their course over 3 years ago (not in person, just bought the course). It's a great course for those who are completely new to Forex and trading. It's based on Fibonacci numbers and chart patterns. I used to talk to a guy named Pedro DeSouza, one of their reps, on IM a bit and he is a great guy, always willing to talk and to help. I've heard nothing but good things about their people and customer service all these years.
It's not everything you'll need to know about trading, but it's a great start, imo. It's a bit pricey, but what I did was I bought a couple of modules. Then I contacted them and got a fairly good discount on the remainder, it was about 25% I think.
A very good friend did a three day course in Florida at the same time I had bought the course. He had nothing but good things to say about all of them and the course.
A warning though. It's fib trading so I suggest you do some research on fibs before doing the course. Many people don't believe in fibs, for many reasons, and that's fine for them. So, you want to make sure you're comfortable with the idea of fibonacci number's existence and how they're applied to the markets. You must believe it's a viable way to trade or else you're just going to be wasting money. A quick run through these forums will show you that lots of folks use them, including myself.
