I agree - it's very hard indeed to get hold of any independent information. I remember doing a major internet trawl for it, starting off with a google search, a year or so ago, and finding some rather off-putting things. I decided to "resolve the issue" by buying his book and making up my own mind about the guy, as a result of which I actually have a copy of "Trading for a Bright Future" sitting here. (I believe actually that he "had it written" for him by an "editor".) Can only give my own opinion, of course, but I think it's probably the worst value trading book I've ever seen in my life. If you want to borrow it, you're very welcome, and I'll even pay the postage for it myself, if the Shetlands is really where you live. Send me a PM if interested (otherwise I'll assume that you're really Martin Cole posting here under a pseudonym as part of the process of trying to tout for business - only kidding ). It must be pretty cold up there, this time of the year? If you want to use this book as kindling I wouldn't be too cross about it.

I had the free information but the only way would be to take the full course and rent the software and that is very expensive. As with all these things if it is so good why sell it, why charge so much for the training course and then rent it on amonthly basis. I think it was about £500 a month, that is a lot to make before you get any money. If I remember it works out at a £3k investment with no chance of return. I understand he now has a UK full time agent and they do show some live trades that may be an option if you are interested in it. As far as write ups go there seems to be no adverse ones that I have seen. If the two day course had been a lot cheaper and used as the selling tool then it would have been worth attending, but as it stands I think too much risk. Good luck

But have you seen any good ones from genuine, independent users?

Can understand that, of course. And from my point of view all the more so given my comments on his book, above.

Thanks for your input. I tend to agree, the upfront cost and on-going rental makes this an expensive risk. As a new trader, what I am looking for is a really good grounding in forex trading. I don't mind paying for this if the infomation can be used to help make me into a succesful trader. However, the more I read the more confussed I become with so many differing opinions. If only there was a reliable proven course and stratgey where new traders can learn their trading skills

Sorry no independent ones, only the ones listed on his site.

As for how to trade moneytec has all the methods, in brief ( or my way )
1 Good Money Management
2 Use pivots to give a range guide
3 Use candle patterns at the end of runs
4 Use chart patterns e.g. trendlines, triangles et.
5 Ma's only to indicate trend

Its all on this site........and it's FREE
