Take This Advice With a Pinch of Salt

To all who read my posts I would like to say:
Beware
I got an A in English an F in Forex Trading
The result is a lethal cocktail that may give some the impression I know what I am talking about..
Yes I know all the Jargon Yes I trade on a regular daily basis Yes I make money I give money back the end result for all my hard labour is
1. A little more experience
2. A breakeven P&L Sheet
3. The uncanny feeling that I don't really know what I am doing.

So there it is my cards are on the table if I ask a lot of questions submit little helpful feedback its because I don't want to burden you with any of the items on my list.

Regards to all
Neil

Ditto

Neil

Good post - I like your attitude. I think we all have good days bad days which can greatly affect your emotions at times. The way I see it as long as you make more than you lose you are in front both physically emotionally (I didn't get an 'A' in English)

Trading is one of the hardest things I have ever done you can at times almost smell the winning trade that will put you on the track to financial freedom. It looks so easy but if you have been around for a while you will know this is not the case. If I had known that trading was going to be so difficult I probably wouldn't have started in the first place. The problem is once you start you are hooked.

Forums like MoneyTec others are a great place to gather information for your own trading style. We are all different percieve things in different ways which will result in a certain amount of disagreement amongst the members at times. Remember markets are created by differences of opinion (Buy or sell).

Neil I enjoy reading your posts as I enjoy others. We are all here to improve our trading skills network brain storm. It is all good fun which will hopefully make better traders out of us all. If you have been trading a while Neil you must be doing something right....

Cheers.

Neil4X Buff

Great post ditto on the buyer beware on my post for that matter any advise anyone gives.

I liken it to... trading style is like a good wife. The other persons wife might look better but is she really when you get to know her. He may love his wife they are great for each other but if I was with her I would just kill myself. You need to get the style DNA just right for you to make it all work.

Dude!

Why do you think I post with the lights off....can't let her see what I'm posting.

You are correct on the type of posters.

Everyone let me give you a free hint...I know I am sudpose to charge $3900 but hey its MLK day.

If it is a US poster it is posted between 7:00AM 5:00PM EST.....guess what....they more than likely aren't trading. That doesn't mean what they are posting is'nt valid (there has been some great stuff posted) but be sure to underst who what you are reading. I know when I am trading (the market is like sludge right now because of MLK) I do not have the time to be reading let alone posting during trading hours.

I gurantee that for 99% of you out there when you look at my post in trading strategies on how I scalp if you tried it you would loose your shirts hate it. But hey I got 24pips today out of this sludge market. It has the right DNA for me......

Best of Luck

Its just that I know what you Yanks are like for litigation

Trendcatcher:
Do you think there would be a market over there for personalised text (sms) mesaging alerting you to London Session Price Moves
I am usually in front of computer about 0630 London Time.
I would have to check the cost of texting but if you think it would be worthwhile you can pass on some decent trades....
