MT 4 new build problem

There was a new build today which I downloaded. The problem is that allof my cusom indicators have disappeared off of my charts don't appear when I look under the drop-down menu. When I switch to Meta Editor they are still there in MT 4. Could somebody please help me to rectify this has anybody else experience the same is it a common occurence?

I think you went wrong by downloading a newer version; the new MT4 platform has auto updating so one doesn’t need to keep reinstalling new releases its automatic.

Also I would strongly suggest using StrategyBuilderFX MT4 it’s much more reliable MetaQuotes demo is used as their Bata tester…

The same thing has happened to me a few times (I dont know why but StrategyBuilderFX does seam to be more prone to these types of problems)

Its worth trying to recompile the custom indicators open them in meta editor click the button labelled "compile" located on the toolbar this sometimes does the trick.

Since updating to the newer version of MT4 I've had to recompile many of the expert's I'd prgrammed because they suddenly had a problem with "SPEECH_ENGLISH" in the SpeechText function...

I haven't had this problem in my MT4 update bld 188 installed automatically in my XP pro software. My PC is relatively new at 1.5 yrs.

BUT my wife has in her auto update in an 6+yr old PC with Win98SE. I have tried 'compiling' custom indics in her PC to no avail.

Is it to do with Win98 or the older PC or with MT4 bld 188 ??

what do we do about it ??
