is this divergence?

hello folks

I was looking at the USDJPY chart and I saw what looked to me as a MACD divergence. If it is so, whats the correct time for trade entry?

Thanks

Re: is this divergence?

technically speaking i believe this would qualify as divergence,

as far as trade entry goes, it depends on which direction you want to trade and the time frame, because these indicators and chart also signify convergence to the upside over the longer period if you look close enough.

indicators always baffled me, sorry i couldnt be more helpful, I wouldnt be able to make the trade decision for you.

Re: is this divergence?

Yes that would qualify as regular divergence. As to where to enter that's up to u, different traders have different ways, just bear in mind on a 4 hr chart you'd need big stops trading divergence because the price could still go up more resulting in double or triple divergence before it decides to move down !!!

A good thread devoted to divergence is as follows:

Happy reading and trading !!

P.S. i personally prefer hidden divergence but different horses for different courses !!
