I sit in fron of my trading platform nearly each day. Most of my trades are daytrading positions, so I close them before the end of day.

But sometimes I try to catch bigger moves and hold positions for a few days, also.

And sometimes, I also do some scalping. But only if the market doesn't offer any other trading opportunities for me

Basically, I am a day trader. But I will take the high probability scalp trade

I am a day trader with positions lasting a few hours, but every now and then I place higher risk short term scalping trades for a few seconds to up to a max. of a few minutes. It all boils down to how sure I am of the trade and if all of my indicators are in agreement.

I only wish I could see profitability in a few seconds. Unfortunately it was that desire and need that saw me blow two accounts. I am now slowly leaning toward longer term positions because of the high volatility and unpredictability in the short term charts. My only problem is that I am impatient. I am learning though that I would rather profit over a longer term such as a few days as apposed to sucking myself dry in a matter of minutes. It always happens to me. It's an ongoing struggle.

Well I am a scalper. I like to trade with scalping techniques, now days I have started Oil and CFD trading as well.
I am learning about these tradings because I don't have enough experience with oil and CFD.

Great to know, I see that there are quite a lot scalpers and day traders. It would be really kind and helpful if we all share our strategies and forex updates. This share would really help all of us.

I am certainly a long term trader. I use weekly charts and trade for the long term trend. or look to trade a range. Patience is the hardest part of this type of trading but it suits my analytical style
