Re: Profitable trading thanks to MoneyTec forum

I traveled from 20-10-2004, 21:51 to today thro all the posts of this thread.
I 'salute' Mark, pumpkin and all the nice people who selflessly posted and helped immensely to all 'noobs-with-determination-to-succeed'. I was really pained and hurt by some posts ( not some but jus a single one) where 'freedom of speech' was used for slander.
Well God created different kinds. He created wrong uns also to let us know the difference.
I thank everbody who showed the path to tread ( and trade) and Moneytec forum to help them congregate here.
This thread is alot more valuable than all the craps some self accalaimed trade guru will charge you for
Happy earnings and trading

Re: Profitable trading thanks to MoneyTec forum

I can’t agree more. I would also like to thank all that R constructive & helpful. Mark, Pumpkin & people go out of their way to help others improve their trading only to have pinheads attack them. If U don’t like what is posted or it doesn’t work for U then U can state so intelligently & just move on. I for one am not interested in reading about how ignorant & rude U can be. No one owes U anything. No one is forcing U to use anything here.

Its not like they R charging U any money like those crooks that R selling crap that they lost money on for thousands of dollars. Or the stuff they renamed to sell to the unwitting next generation. Or worse yet those that try to deceive us that they R just members while they R really trying to sell something.

This is exactly why those that make our living in this business stop bothering trying to help. We don’t need the aggravation. What we need is to get rid of these idiots with bad attitudes so the rest can stay positive. Then maybe we can down to good sharing rather than being distracted with idiots.

There needs to be a policy of banning pinheads. It would make this & other sites better for the rest.

Hi mark3
Thanks for being a good guy. I am completely new to forex and have been reading my spinal cord to breaking point since the past three months- yet have not been able to lay hands on any good trading strategy. Please could anyone teach me how to read charts and its applications.

Re: Profitable trading thanks to MoneyTec forum

You are going to have to learn to use your creativity or you will always be at the mercy of someone else's analysis. You can develop a strategy. Keep watching the charts, keep reading. Meditate. If you still get nothing, just start trading with a demo and then you will begin to see what works and what doesn't work. There are numerous strategies within the moneytec forums. Choose one. You can always buy a cheap system or check out Chuck Lebeau at the traders club.Once you get going then you will be able to alter rules to fit your personality. Then when you are consistently profitable with a demo, go live. This may not have been the best advice, but it's free. Happy trading!

Quicmann.

I'd suggest getting a book on techincal analysis, Martin Pring has some good books out there. Start with the basics, trendlines, ranges, and looking for multiple tops/bottoms. You can then start to add indicators and see how they suit you. Develop a system that you can follow, from pre-market prep to entry to exit with rules that can be defined and followed. Then practice, practice, practice ... Bottom line is, there is no better teacher than experience!

As was previuosly stated, there are a handful of strategies in this forum. Find one that suits you, the difficult part is being disciplined enough to not stray from the system and patient enough to stick with it after a few losses. There is NO system that is 100% accurate ....

Good luck (it will take work)
