Accounting and Trading?

i am curious if anyone uses accounting in there trading, ie do you figure up balance sheets?, do you figure ratios on return of any kind? plot linear regression for each trade and find the average performance?

Are you asking whether folks use accounting to determine trades/investments? Or are you asking if they use accounting methods to evaluate systems and/or results?
