lol, just read this on a website and it made me laugh....


If you had bought $1000.00 worth of Nortel stock one year ago, it would now be worth $49.00.

With Enron, you would have $16.50 of the original $1,000.00.

With WorldCom, you would have less than $5.00 left.

Total = $68.50

If you had bought $3,000.00 worth of Budweiser (the beer, not the stock) one year ago, drank all the beer, then turned in the cans for the $.05 cent deposit, you would have $240.00.

Based on the above, my current investment advice is to drink heavily and recycle.

that's old, i'm afraid, in my country it came out last year, but instead of Budweiser, it read "Quilmes"


BTW, "Quilmes", much better than Bud, not that anyone cares

Just to follow up, where I live our main beer is actually called XXXX, commonly referred to as Fourex would you believe. So this currency trading should be easy for us Queenslanders, then again I was born in St Andrews and I can't play golf for shit.....
