Could you please name me those trade boxes that will fill my weekend stoploss at the stated price even if the market weekend gapped many hundreds of pips and never traded anywhere near my stop?

Are you saying that the tradebox stays available internally to trade during the weekend hours in order to execute stoplosses while it remains closed for you to trade on?

Are you saying the tradebox will eat any gapped stoploss for you no matter the weekend gap?

The majority of dollars traded do not get traded on a tradebox, and there are no set hours between those who do trade between themselves. Retail trade boxes try to accomplish these set hours, and the hours are not all the same.

I would be glad to have somebody eat my weekend risk.

I read those posts at elitetrader. They did not convince me that a retail trade box will eat a stoploss order on a gapper that they could not and did not participate in, such as weekends or when no trades occured inside the gapper at any time. This would simply be financial suicide with no chances of offset to cover the cost, much less profit from offering it.

There are many threads to indicate exactly such notion. It makes no sense to me. I will beleive it, over the examples posted of "not so" when someone can actually show me that the retail box gave the fill and ate the crow when there was actually no tradable or traded price.

Maybe da monkey is just getting old and needs to go out to pasture; errr, 'em, back into the trees.
