I had a thread going for what I called "very-active" trading, only I've taken it out shortly after due to the fact that the trades were so in-and-out that it was almost pointless to keep the thread as the reco's tended to be too late once posted.

Any suggestions? Perhaps and IRC or AIM chat? E-Mail Alerts?

Then again the purpose of the thread wasn't to give recomendations, but to run up a cross-referenceable track record. In this case it would have worked just fine the way it was.

But what IF, it were to be for posting reccomendations in addition to it's original purpose? It's a little cumbersome to update as is...

Any ideas?

What about a Yahoo! Group ?
then by sending one email you could keep everybody informed.

If the trades are really fast (market entry) then you have to go with instant messaging, I'd expect. Or set up a chat room. These are less useful, I think, because it's harder to notice new posts because they don't "pop up" typically.

Instant Messaging would be best. Instant just like it says for your very fast very active trade alerts. Can you do broadcast send from Trillian?
