Re: Swing Trading Strategies

normally I would rest on trend and analysis with open eyes and stake a very tiny amount of the capital and ramp up slowly with the strategy, swings are quite safe and profitable if the trader has patience and follows a discipline.

Re: Swing Trading Strategies

Levendi,

I use a swing trade method I got from Avi Frister. It uses a daily chart and if price move so far during one day, if the next day filters are hit, your chances of a 100 pip gain are very good. This setup only occurs 3-4 times per month but it's unbelievably accurate. It’s more successful with the GBP/USD and EUR/USD pairs so I wouldn’t use it with any other pair. You can read more about it on my site if you’re interested. He also has a couple of great day trading strategies, but they are more risky. If you keep with the strategies, you will make money over time, but you have to be consistent. You need to be a disciplined trader and have good money management if you want to succeed in this business.

Andrew

Hi Levendi,

You should be able to click on my username. My website URL is under there. I don't think we're allowed to post links here. If you have any questions or anything, just ask.

Swing trading is definitely the way to go into trading forex.

It helps you to tap on the trend and ride it till the end...

Intraday trading is not impossible but it takes a lot of patience, skills and experience to make it.

Re: Swing Trading Strategies

Swing trading has to do with using most recent swing as a predictor of next one. It has nothing to do with how long the trade last. It is completely dependent on the chart used. Could be daily or 1M chart, most recent price swings determine the course of action. It is trader's job to find the dominant swing and get clues from it for following move (swing).

FX Madness.
