OK,
I've gotten to the point where I have to find (or build myself) a good system that works for me. I've traded and played around with a few dozen or so trading systems (some of them from this site) with varying degrees of success and failures. My trading skills have many strengths and weaknesses which I won't go into on this thread. I also read lots of books and have researched the web on building forex trading systems.
I will evntually have the ability to design my own systems which will make me consistent profits. Great !
However, I would like to expand my horizons and thoroughly search the internet for Forex sites that have systems that I could check out and try. I would like to explore all (or most) of the possibilities for different system design.
I have no desire to use signal services or advisory services or trade recommnedations from 'gurus'. A decent mentor such as Dr. Forex or Rob Booker is not out of the question for me, though. Neither do I mind paying for a good system or EA or Indicator - as long as it's proven to be effective.
The problem is that, as you all know, if you type a google search query for : "forex systems" - you get 20 million

or so results. I have tried using booleans and other search options on "advanced search" in google. These have narrowed my search down to 19,000.
What I did was use the "and not" operator to exclude all the signal service website buzz words like "-managed -account -forecast -advisory -service -signal"
I speak English so I excluded results not in english , because I wouldn't understand them anyways.
There were a lot of results that were retail advertisement sites for brokers and platforms so I did an "and not" to those buzz words such as "-demo -spread -platform -commission -live"
These same "buzz" words are repeatedly used on a lot of forex sites. Since, all I'm interested in at this point is forex systems I think that I have narrowed my search down quite a bit. However, this leaves me with an uneasy feeling that I may have eliminated some of the best info. out there.
Anybody have any ideas or would like to share their systematic internet searching techniques for good FX sites is appreciated.
Also, feel free to comment on systematic searching the internet for specific forex info. without literally sifting through all the garbage websites and B.S. -one site at a time muliplied by
20 million?
Any input welcome
