technical question - cms visualtrader

Can anyone tell me if I can create a new VOLUME indicator on cms visualtrader (or modify the existing one) so that

the current histogram volume bar is colored GREEN if it is HIGHER than the previous histogram volume bar ...........and

the current histogram volume bar is colored RED if it is LOWER than the previous histogram volume bar

Thanks Alan

Here you go. The file is not zipped. Just replace the zip extension with vtscr.

Re: technical question - cms visualtrader

Sorry, maybe I was not clear....

One of the previous offerings gives a green vol bar when candle Closes at a higher PRICE than previous candle's closing PRICE.

Don't get me wrong, I'm very thankful for EVERYONE'S efforts to solve my problem!!

I need:

the current histogram volume bar colored GREEN if current period's volume is GREATER than the previous period's volume (nothing to do with PRICE)............and

the current histogram volume bar colored RED if current period's volume is LESS than the previous period's volume.

e.g.
If Vol for last 4 days is: 10, 20, 15, 22

coresponding vol bars for last 3 days would be: green (20>10), red (15<20), green (22>15)

Re: technical question - cms visualtrader

You have to rename the file before you import it into VT Trader. Replace the .zip extension with .vtscr extension.

Re: technical question - cms visualtrader

How do I do that? ......how patient are you?

(I have tried to save it and I have tried to open it, but both times it tells me to unzip it.
When I try to unzip, it says I need a password.)

Thanks
Alan
