Thinking of buying braintrading

Hi there,

Im scalping at the moment, trading of divergance doubletops/bottoms and pullbacks and doing ok, getting about 5-10 pips per trade but i'm looking for a good trend following indicator like braintrading to take advantage of the bigger moves and lots of ppl here who use it seem to be impressed by it.

I've read the manual and everything but the thing is I find it a little hard to read since its written by a non native english speaker.

Can anyone here who uses it tell me how they use it and what they think is so good about it please?

Thanks
Andrew

Braintrading

Hello Andrew,

I am like yourself - interested in the Braintrading program. Could you please tell me where I could get information about this program?

I am a newbie, so I cannot use messaging yet.

Thanks...

Let me paint a picture

A few months ago i came very close to buying the braintrading package especially after reading through the main braintrading thread on here..............then i started to notice that alot of the people that had purchased the braintrading stuff were then using other methods to trade so i thought to myself hang on once upon a time you were using the brain trading indicators and now whats happened it obviously hasnt worked out??

So anyway i asked the people what happened to the braintrading methods and if they were still using it etc and they all (after spending a couple of successful months with it) said that they now realise that the braintrading method is certainly not a complete system and that the indicators were merely good at picking up the trend and that they were looking at ways to complement the braintrading indicators.

AND I THOUGHT WHAT!! if all they do is determine the trend i may as well just shove a load of moving averages on my chart. (slight exageration)

So in conclusion after months of debating whether to shell out a few hundred dollars on something that isnt even a system was, if i'm looking for a SUPER set of indicators then braintrading is for me if i'm looking for a trading system then its not for me.

Despite all of what i have just said i'm still thinking of buying the braintrading package because yes people do say how very impressed they are with there indicators and most people that have it say they cannot do without them!

The thing is.........I understand that they are trend following indicators but so are moving averages as you point out.

So the question is why are they so superior to MVA's and other trend following indicators?
