Greed is good

Of course it is! but not in trading I've found. I think it was harder to know when to TP northern trades than when to close loss making trades, more so in long term trades. Anyway I thought this was funny www.greedband.com despite my views on trading technique!

Oh yes, sin is holy. Check this out.

---

Pride is excessive belief in one's own abilities, that interferes with the individual's recognition of the grace of God. It has been called the sin from which all others arise. Pride is also known as Vanity.

Envy is the desire for others' traits, status, abilities, or situation.

Gluttony is an inordinate desire to consume more than that which one requires.

Lust is an inordinate craving for the pleasures of the body.

Anger is manifested in the individual who spurns love and opts instead for fury. It is also known as Wrath.

Greed is the desire for material wealth or gain, ignoring the realm of the spiritual. It is also called Avarice or Covetousness.

Sloth is the avoidance of physical or spiritual work.

Re: Greed is good

I'm greedy, and selfish, here is a very bold experiment, but limiting to 20 applicants only, 3 places taken:-

The Projectfficeffice" />>>

>>

Send a screen shot of fxcm.com mini real (not demo account) dealing platform after each trade/day of trading to interested parties.>>

Start with very low margin availability and build stake and margin to £2000 or equivalent.>>

Probably going to convert account to ffice:smarttags" />lace>USAlace> $ to avoid repeated exchange fees.>>

When reached £2000 begin giving more narration of method and tactics of each trade and reveal the software being used.>>

When reached £5000 ask fxcm to confirm that the trades were real, close the account and move on to continue my trading.>>

>>

Why do this?>>

Primarily for selfish reasons. I think that it will improve my overall performance. They say that if you want to be really good at something then teach it.>>

I have seen and heard from so many in my experience (4years) as a trader, futures and forex, but have never come across any that have shown me that they actually trade themselves and trade successfully (except for the person who taught me and whose software I use). Especially as trading is a world of doubt it is doubly hard to learn from those because of the subconscious having that doubt without proof. Unless you see me performing consistently over a significant period of time then you will not come to understand or have confidence in the approach I use.>>

So I will not be revealing much for the first few weeks, all traders have lucky spells some of a few weeks, but I want to demonstrate beyond just plain luck first.>>

>>

Will it work?>>

I have no idea but have already come across difficulty running this mini fxcm account along side my normal trading account but this can be overcome. I may find this will have a negative effect on my performance in which case I can scrap the project.>>

You can always un-scribe at anytime, just mail me and I will delete your address.>>

When I send the mails you will not be able to see the others addresses.>>

The trades I take with the mini fxcm real account I also take almost exactly the same trades with my normal account that I live off, so if the project does not work then I have got a problem!>>

>>

>>

I stress again I am doing this for selfish reasons but if it works it would give me enormous satisfaction to see you also succeed.>>

Please note that I do not trade from news or fundamentals and primarily day trade, rarely holding overnight. I do not want to know what stuff you are using, just your name and confirmation that you have not been successful so far, moderately successful traders have everything to loose by this distraction.>>
