I use a few systems for different markets. I don't feel comfortable talking about what I do, but will be happy to give you an idea of what I do.

Many thanks for your overview. It sounds as though your discipline is excellent and I need to learn from that. I need to focus on my entry point as well because I am not making enough on my profitable trades before they turn against me.

I would like to thank everyone who has given up their valuable time to give me pointers and steer me in the right direction.

Happy Trading

If you have a few losers, you're in good company

In October 1998, Soros was forced to close the $1.5 billion
Quantum Emerging Growth Fund after it lost nearly a third of its
value amid a plunge in value of the ruble. Soros merged Quasar
International Fund into another fund for the same reason.

MickMason was quoted as saying, "George Soros is a con man!
A novice trader! I would never take advice from this old git!
I've never seen a fund lose money so fast!"

What, you mean George Soros's traders weren't using one of your $200-a-month 'automated holy grail systems', well no wonder they lost money!!!

lol, how does it go again.......

The Autofx systems:

"System 1 is an intraday trading strategy that trades in the 15-minute timeframe, using three consecutive higher lows (indicating long) or lower highs (indicating short) as entry triggers, with 30-pip stops and 115-pip limits. Profits ranging anywhere from 12 pips up to 115 pips can be taken."
"System 2 is an intraday trading strategy that trades in the 15-minute timeframe, using three consecutive higher lows (indicating long) or lower highs (indicating short) as entry triggers, with 30-pip stops and 115-pip limits. Profits ranging anywhere from 12 pips up to 115 pips can be taken."

....too funny Bob, just too funny

Just do a Google search on "soros quantum fund" and you'll get
a large number of hits on stories about Soros' career.

Not only has he lost and lost big, but so have most other well
known money managers, at various points along the way.

What distinguishes them from losers? They keep going. They
learn to keep the up times bigger than the losing times. They
are at peace with their losers being a matter of public record,
because they know they will ultimately win more than they lose.
