voice alerts

I wrote a program i'm calling FXVoice for voice alerts. I use it when I can't be by the computer but want streaming realtime quotes at certain intervals. So I made a program that does this in intervals of anywhere between 30 seconds 30 minutes. You can also choose between male female voices 32 currency ps. Hopefully we'll all get away chart-flipping get some other work done....

You can download this prog at my website here. Give me some feedback on it on this forum or email me directly.

Get a long speaker cord put it out by the pool...

links fixed

I had a few bad links on my website regarding the forex voice realtime quote software fxvoice. They're fixed now so if anyone wanted to download it should work now.

Might be interesting can I ask a few questions here?

Can it be used to set price alerts? I expect even the 'soothing' voices of Mike or Mary could begin to grate after a few hours of constantly churning out price changes that extension speaker would probably end up in the pool not by it!

What is the source of the feed or is it linked to a traders existing platform?

Is there a software preview anywhere? Screenshots? Trial? Refund if not blissfully happy?

How about a free or discounted 'exquisite painted bottle painted the inside'?

not totally satisfied

I wish my forex broker gave me a refund for when their server wasn't down or the planets weren't aligned right or I wasn't feeling glum that day...

There's a screenshot available on the website (here) currently there isn't any alert function although that's a great idea I'll probably put it into the next version. You can set the quote interval to a longer period of time say 30 minutes it shouldn't grate

I don't do trials or shareware as these are utilities I essentially made for my own use...

inside painted bottles are quite nice by the way

new updates

I added a couple of features yesterday:

1. Now you can get multiple currency ps 'spoken' or quoted simultaneously. 32 Ps are available of course if you select all of them it'll take some time for the TTS engine to read but it's now possible!

2. I added the ability to add custom alarms for any of the 32 currency ps. You can set alarms for above a certain price (greater than..) below a price (less than) when it hits a certain price (equals to). This is helpful when you only want to hear quotes when you are in a certain profit or loss range or just when price has reached a certain level. You can run the alarms at the same time as the normal live feed.

Get FXvoice here

I also have a free data feed available for programmers or clients looking for custom software particularly automated trading systems.
