Re: Vote for the best platform

I traded with MetaTrader 3 for a couple of years, and am now running MetaTrader 4. This platform really is hard to beat, and the MQ4 language in MT4 is C-like, so most software-savvy people will warm up to it quickly. You need a broker that knows how to configure/maintain the servers, though.

Have you ever tried UGMFX? (www.ugmfx.com) MT4 broker with tight variable spreads.

Nah, they're a stop-hunting bucket shop who steal your money. Best stay away.

Re: Vote for the best platform

MT4 is a good platform. Finding a good broker with this platform is a different story.

Re: Vote for the best platform

MT4 from Metatrader is excellent.
However, like most charting packages, you have to calculate trading entry details before every order.

The Super Sid (Simple Interface Device) makes it dead easy to calculate and implement trades .... especially the news.
( 2 seconds to place an accurately calculated order or pending order)

Metatrader PLUS Super Sid is way ahead of the rest !!

Details are in this thread...

or watch a video of Super Sid in action at

Re: Vote for the best platform

I find FXCM's platform pretty straight forward and easy to use.
