After Fri.6 Need to think positively Pls.

Too much debate around after Fri.6.
Many are complaining of unf brokers practices showing evidences or just riding the wave.
Some got tiresome see that brokers have the right to do what they did.

We need to think in positive way. What are alternatives?
- quit completely
- Switch to futures or equities
- stay & look for another broker
- Stay & deal with banks. (more regulated )
- Stay & change your startegies.

If you switch where?
If you stay which broker or bank do you recommend?
If you stay will you stop trading at major news?

If you completely quit I wish you best wishes.

Pls. this is not sales patch. If you recommend x or y pls. show evidence or state facts.

Thumbs up

I can't talk about anyone else but the bulk of my trading (75%) is with CMC I'm happy.

Ive had a lot of brokers over the years whenever something not quite right has occured i.e. stop Ive developed a work around rather than get hooked up on it.

Don't spend too much time trying to find faults with the brokers rather spend that time on focusing entirely on trading successfully.

Althougth I recognise that 'some' experinces such as cancelling profitiable trades is 'not on' though its something I have NEVER experienced.

KEEP Focused on Trading - don't be distracted by NOISE !

CMC

Thanks Mr 50%
So this is a vote to CMC. seems they offer a user-friendly platform comparable spreads.
Till now no complaints.

My opinion

Kindly Voters are requested to give us their ideas pls. They are 5 now.

Personally I am dealing with RefcoFx. I am satisfied till now. I never tried trading in major news. just trials on demos then with great success. I get warnings repeatedly to trade in major news so I play it safely.
I am confused to stay with RefcoFx or move to a bank. I am currently studying alternatives. I appreciate any support or advice.

FXCM

I trade with FXCM I have had success with them. It can be hard to exit a losing position during big annoucements (Which part of the always use a stop loss lesson had I forgotten?) but they are pretty solid except for the odd glitch or two. Last friday 27 aug 2004 there was a five minute delay between their server my computer which was really strange I took advantage of it profitted hsomely. So sometimes the brokers make big mistakes too you can take their money just as easily as they can take yours at times. Overall they are all the same trading the forex is a sophisticated form of gambling sometimes you win sometimes you lose but the goal over the long term is to keep the odds in your favour.
