Where can i get 1 pip spread for big amounts?

Hello there,

I would like to ask the traders here if they know a respectful bank that can give me direct trading line with around 1 pip spread EUR USD only ( for trades above $10-15M). Right now i use a big German bank and they give me 4 pips up to $5m and 5 pips for anything above $5m.

I have heard many stories about the actual spread between the banks is 1/10th of a pip and i actually know a USA based fx broker who has direct trading line with HYPO bank in EU and they offer him 1 pip spread.

So i was thinking that there should be people in this forum that will know of a bank or institution that would provide spot trading for around 1 pip (i know some offshore brokers do offer 1.5-2 pips but its gotta be AAA bank that i want to work with, i dont trust these brokers - they can be gone with the money tomorrow.)

Thanks Very much i just checked the websites and it looks very promising. I have been paying 5-6 points so far so this looks very good to me.. From what i see from the screenshots it shows that sometimes the spread will be 2 pips not 1 because sometimes the bid is good only for 5M and then you gotta take the remaining at 1 pip below that.. but i think its still ok.

I also wanted to ask you, which one is better EBS or CURRENEX? and what is the leverage i can get from each one and what is the minimum to open account so i can test them ?

Well i tried both and it seems they are only software providers, they say they cannot work with private clients?

Currenex and EBS or geared more toward commercial Institutional clients with substantial credit lines, great banking relationships and over 100k to open accounts.

No offence but I wouldn’t trust o a n d a with anything over $1000 bucks

Try retail ECN's (Electronic currency network) like hotspot or CoesFX, If you really want great platform that supports auto trading and custom indicators and ECN use StrategyBuilderFX MT4 with clearing over CoesFX.

I'm surprised that for the size you're dealing you aren't getting a bit tighter pricing. Maybe not 1 pip all the time because the liquidity simply isn't there for that at the moment, but I would have thought that a margin account with one of the big shops should give you access to a decent spread template.

But I guess you have already tried this.

Currenex is being offered to private clients and you can open accounts from 35 000 USD and up. Min deal size is 250 k USD pr trade. You have to pay a commission for using the platform.
What kind of volum are you looking at?
EBS is not accessible for private clients.
