The reason I asked was I'm trying to get some background on forex-swiss.com (also known as Foreign Exchange Clearing House) and on their website it says "....authorized to deal in Spot Foreign Exchange market and derivatives (CFDs) of commodities. Foreign Exchange Clearing House is a Prime Clearing Member of Electronic Derivatives Exchange PANAFEX regulated by Financial Markets Services Authority...."

I have no idea who 'Financial Markets Services Authority' are but if they're talking about the FSA then there's no record of them being registered.

Calls to both forex-swiss and Panafex go through to an answerphone, emails to them get a half-baked pigeon-English reply, and chat through their Live Chat this morning was hopeless, it took the guy around 30 seconds to reply to each question....he obviously had great difficulty with the last one!

Small world we live in. I have a P.O. box in the very same post office here in Boca Raton, FL as Mr Batashvili.

I took a look in the phone book and he is not listed nor Globfex.

Let me know if you get anything further and I take a look around.

Just looking around really Atom, keeping up to speed, it was only a couple of months ago I opened an account at Oanda and up until then all my business had gone to CMC.

Shame about forex-swiss, no interest charges would have been nice for hedging a long-term yield positive position.

Oh well......

Thanks sunabeach, I'm not sure it's going to be pursued much further, it all sounds a little too suspicious for me!

You're right though, small world, maybe you'll run into the guy sometime.
