Why Did The Buck Sell Off This Week?

By no means and I bashing a fundamental trade in the forex market. I have read alot of books on global curency and on the global economy, I jut do not feel that my own knowledge of the global arena is adequate to forecast profitable short-term spot trades. I like to take trades that last anywhere from 1 to 24 hrs and sometimes even the obvious macro trades run counter in the short-term. I let the price action alone guide me in taking future trades. It is just a different philosophy in trading methodology, the age old Technical vs. Fundamental debate.

There's 1 thing I stil do not understand:
When the USD reach says, Rp9850, investor will buy the rupiah and when it reach Rp9250 investor will take profit. Anyone could explain the reasons?
What do you think about rupiah prospect?
