Calling all brits

Im looking for a web based news source that is based in Great Brittan. I currently use bloomberg, but having a brittish accent doesnt make it brittish news. Any recomendations?

I was completly off guard yesterday with the BOE minutes. 04:15 yesterday Im long on the cable sitting +20 pips so I move stop to +5 pips intending to ride the trade. I go off looking for breakfast and come back an hour later to see a missed opportunity. I hope somebody made some money on that!!

I listen to bloomberg internet radio. Granted, I tuned in around 02:30 est. There is a distinct possibility I missed it. Even so, if they reported it early in the am gmt that puts it at 7-8 pm est. Why the big delay for the pop off at 04:30 est?
Thats an hour and a half into the trading day in London.

From a technical perspective,...the sharp spike lends itself to a lot of people waiting for one thing to happen at a very specific and expected time.

Does this gest that the big players were armed with the info and simply waiting for the highest (double top) cable price before opening the shorts?

That could have made me serious cash yesterday!!!! Instead of just the 5 pips I walked away with.

I am discovering more and more that if you want to trade the cable you need to do so from a Brittish perspective.

But hey, you could always go trade the USD/YUAN.

No, What I meant was Blair does not move fx markets where as the Chancellor of the Exchequor has a huge influence.
I think the Royals are a source of pride (and tourist revenue) for Britain and tend to like them.
