I agree,

SaxoBank (www.saxobank.com) trades 5 - 8 pip spread (sometimes smaller) - it has one of the best combinations of user interface, charting, good spreads, trade execution (STP) and accounting I've seen. Most of the larger FX retail platforms I've looked (GFT, CMC, FXCM etc. - see Fxstreet for a big list) at will do a lot better thank 15 pips. What a rip off.

BillF and Shellback

Thanks for the info, Today I signed up with SaxoBank for a demo account. Their spread is currently 7 to 8 pips on GBP/CHF. I hear that ACM offer 5 pips on the GBP/CHF, it's getting better every day. My search is not only for a lower spread, but I need to use a trailing stop loss.

Trailing Stops - I know that CMC are looking at introducing them. However the problem with trailing stops for people who provide the system is how to impliment it.... There are many ways you can use a trailing stop & just becasue the system can do it doesn't mean that its the correct method for you (% of gain, % of current equity, fixed pip amount, fixed dollar amount, volatility multiples... the list goes on & on....).

Best thing to do is go direct to the providers and see what they offer & how they can accomodate you.

Thanks for the info, I agree that the best way is to go directly to the providers...but... who are they ??? hence the posting. I am searching for a good pip spread on GBP/CHF with a Broker that offers a trailing stop loss, and when I discover where this can be found I will indeed approach them. Meantime, the search goes on.
