If I check the "improved" formula I have, there's a hard coded "9" where probably Period-1 should be .... leave that to 9 and you'll have even more mystical curves ;-)

Just looking at the code shown for this:

#2 - "log" seems not to scale properly through the zero-line. Could anyone take a look at the code posted above and help me out here?

Looks like SureBet is on to something with the use of this, despite its apparent simplicity.

Perhaps filtering the spikes that the PFE makes would help to simplify using it. Attached is a chart that shows a spike appearing on the same bar that price broke the trend line.
